Missionaries to Belgium

Need: $16,000

Last time I was in Belgium with Larry we made trips every Sunday and Thursday to pick up people at the train depot and take them to the church. Larry drove a Suzuki “zoom” car, a four passenger compact while Jeanie, his wife, picked up people in the van. The Suzuki has 300,000 kilometers on it and was in bad shape. We would crowd five to seven people in the car each trip and would make one or two trips for each service.

Gasoline in Belgium is $4.70 per gallon and the road tax is approximately $500.00 to $700.00 per year, depending on the value of your car. I saw the need for Larry to have a new car, but he would had to have used his entire furlough to raise the money, so I volunteered iMap to raise the money for him.

Within a few days iMap was able to raise $16,000.00 for the car. Larry was able to get a NEW Ford diesel wagon that will carry many more people and cost considerably less to operate.
